Color has always played an important role in my life. As I look back, it was the driving force behind so many decisions- especially to become a makeup artist. In the beginning, all I wanted to do was play with the abstract; textures and colors layered, painted and thrown about on human forms and faces. I knew nothing about natural makeup and quite frankly, didn’t care to. It wasn’t until assisting some of the greatest makeup artists in the industry did I understand the power of color theory and its role in transforming women to look their best. Now, having learned to work with color pigments and create color formulations through my mentors, Chad and Trae at Three Custom Color, it has added whole new dimension to my art and deepened my passion for all things color.
